Successful clubs set goals to give the club direction. Maybe yours wants to welcome more members, participate in more service projects, or improve the club experience Setting goals is a first step to motivating members working for a common purpose.
But success takes more than goal setting. Periodic monitoring of progress toward those goals is also needed and mid-year is a good time for a checkup. That’s easy if Rotary and Rotaract clubs use Rotary Club Central track progress toward their goals. For continuity, club leaders can set annual goals for up to three years, record club accomplishments, and share progress with every member. Looking back, incoming leaders can use past goals to chart the club’s future direction.
