Studies have shown time and time again that some of the most effective ways to attract new members is by telling our own stories and engaging prospective members in our projects. To help with the former, Rotary has just made available to us several one-minute testimonial videos. These videos from diverse members explain how Rotary both feeds these members’ passions and furthers their professions. The videos of three U.S. members in this initial rollout may be of the most interest to our clubs.
R.I. plans to release future videos showcasing the diversity of our members, their breadth of experiences, and Rotary’s global reach. Each of the testimonials complements ours People of Action messaging. These easily accessible public image tools can deepen the public’s understanding of the many ways Rotary enriches members’ lives, BUT ONLY IF YOU USE THEM.
Find and download these new videos on Rotary’s Brand Center, then post them on your social media. Help potential participants and members get a glimpse into everything Rotary has to offer them.
To maximize your club’s visibility to prospective members, be sure its information is up-to-date in My Rotary. If your club offers alternate meeting days, times, or locations, you can include that information on the Club Details page by clicking on the blue Add Meeting button. This tells prospective members and others about the various ways they can connect with your club.
