Each year since 2017, every Rotarian has had the opportunity to nominate another member to be recognized for their work to advance women in Rotary. The Sylvia Whitlock Leadership Award is named after the first female Rotary club president, who went on to lead change for women around the world through Rotary. May Chin Mei Lu, last year’s recipient was recognized for her work that benefited women and girls in many countries.

The nomination period opens on August 1st and closes on September 30th. NOW is the time to foster discussions in your district about who deserves to be nominated for this recognition.
