On February 7th, ministers of health and delegates from around the world attended the WHO Executive Board meeting in Geneva to discuss global public health issues, including on the need to urgently eradicate polio to prevent a “perfect storm’ for poliovirus transmission and protect eradication”. Representatives from the United States did not attend.
