Following up on a previous post about Rotary’s WhatsApp channel, some of you have asked, “What’s WhatsApp?”. It is a messaging system with end-to-end encryption. For those of you now asking, “What’s end-to-end encryption and why should I care about it?”, it protects both the privacy and security of communications by encrypting messages from your device to your recipient’s device. This  ensures that only your intended recipient(s) will be able to read them. It also makes it much more difficult for third parties to access the content of your messages.
